CCMU and CCMO Continued Free and Low-Cost Treatments for Denver Community in 2025
CCMU and its partnered 501(c)3 non-profit Chinese Medicine Community Organization (CMCO) have continued our work to sponsor low-cost and free acupuncture and TCM treatments at CCMU clinics. With the finalized 2025 numbers for our partnership, we have officially provided over 13,000 free or discounted treatments since 2022!

CCMU’s clinics offer a range of Chinese medicine treatments, including acupuncture, herbal medicine, cupping, and more. While these treatments have proven to be effective in regards to health and wellbeing, financial constraints and restrictive insurance providers make it difficult for many to access these forms of care. With an aim of ultimately eliminating this financial barrier to care, CMCO and CCMU, along with outside donors and partners, have worked to make this care accessible and affordable for members of our community via our school clinic. Thanks to our funders and outreach efforts, we are proud to say that we have been able to provide over 3000 free or discounted treatments for the third year running!
CMCO has worked since 2007 to help improve access to TCM care in the Denver area. CCMU and CMCO commit to maintaining our joint work to improve healthcare accessibility going forward.
