In recognition of Women’s History Month, Colorado Chinese Medicine University (CCMU) will host a special Expo Series Lecture on Women’s Health on March 29 from 2:00–3:30 PM.
This lecture explores women’s health through the perspective of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and how holistic practices can support balance, vitality, and long-term wellness. Participants will gain insights into how TCM understands women’s physiology and the role of lifestyle, emotional balance, and preventive care in maintaining health.
Topics will include:
- The TCM perspective on women’s physiology and hormonal balance
- Supporting menstrual and reproductive health
- Lifestyle practices for long-term vitality and wellbeing
- Preventive approaches to women’s health in Chinese medicine
The lecture will be presented by Rui Nan, a faculty member in CCMU’s Advanced Doctoral Program, who will share both classical insights and practical clinical perspectives on supporting women’s health.
This program is part of the Colorado Acupuncture & Herbal Medicine Expo Series, a year-round series of educational and community events leading to the 2nd Colorado Acupuncture & Herbal Medicine Expo.
