Start Dates and Application Fees
This page provides important information on trimester start dates, early application deadlines, orientation attendance requirements, and the application fee schedule for graduate programs at Colorado Chinese Medicine University (CCMU). Applicants are encouraged to plan ahead and submit completed applications well in advance of the published deadlines.

Application Deadlines and Program Start Dates
Applicants should aim to have completed applications received at least one month prior to the start of the trimester for which they are applying. The schedule below highlights the 2026 trimester dates and early application deadlines.
Spring 2026 Schedule
- First Day of School*: January 2, 2026
- First Day of Classes: January 5, 2026
- Early Application Deadline: November 28, 2025
Summer 2026 Schedule
- First Day of School*: May 1, 2026
- First Day of Classes: May 5, 2026
- Early Application Deadline: March 27, 2026
Fall 2026 Schedule
- First Day of School*: August 28, 2026
- First Day of Classes: August 31, 2026
- Early Application Deadline: July 25, 2026
Orientation Information
The “First Day of School” refers to the mandatory New Student Orientation. All new students must attend orientation as scheduled. If unable to attend a given date, students must arrange an alternate orientation schedule with the Dean’s Office.

Application Fee Schedule
Applications will not be processed until all required documents and fees are received. Only completed applications are reviewed by the admissions committee.
Standard Application Fee
- $75.00: Standard application fee for domestic applicants.
Late Application Fee
- $100.00: Assessed when applications are received within 30 days before the first day of classes.
Transfer Student Fee
- $100.00: For students transferring from another acupuncture/TCM institution.
Foreign Student Paperwork Fee
- $425.00: Charged for international applications, in addition to the standard and late fees as applicable.
Application Processing and Notes
Applications are reviewed only when complete with all necessary documentation and fees. Eligible applicants may be invited to schedule an interview with the administrative director. Final admissions decisions are made following the interview. Applicants not accepted due to class capacity may be placed on a waiting list.
