CCMU Launches Call for Proposals: Join Us in Advancing Chinese Medicine Research
We are thrilled to announce a Call for Proposals for innovative research projects that align with CCMU’s mission and our collaboration with RAND REACH. This is a unique chance to contribute to the advancement of Chinese Medicine by leveraging mentorship, cutting-edge resources, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Proposal Opportunities
- Individual Projects
Faculty, staff, alumni, and collaborators are invited to propose independent research projects. These initiatives will be supported by RAND REACH resources, including mentorship and tools for success. - Team-Based Collaborative Projects
Collaborative research amplifies impact through multidisciplinary approaches and increases opportunities for broader funding. Teams will address critical areas, including:
- Knowledge Map Team: Developing an interoperable knowledge map of Chinese Medicine, integrating patient-reported outcomes with holistic health concepts.
- Ethics and Policy Team: Investigating ethical frameworks and policy in Complementary and Integrative Health.
- Standards and Outcome Measures Team: Creating validated tools for measuring and reporting research outcomes.
- Pragmatic Clinical Trials Team: Designing impactful trials to support real-world applications of Chinese Medicine.
- Integrative Oncology Team: Exploring Chinese Medicine’s role in cancer care and improving patient outcomes.
- Pain Team: Developing non-pharmacological interventions for pain management and addressing the opioid crisis.
- Writing Team: Supporting grant writing, academic publishing, and advancing TCM evidence through high-quality case studies and research articles.
