Internship Opportunity (unpaid)
Water Mama Acupuncture is seeking an intern to help with medical record system one to two days  a week for 4-6 hours weekly. The schedule is very flexible. Our clinic is located in Aurora, CO. Water Mama Acupuncture has the unique opportunity to be part of The Healing Garden, a nonprofit organization working to create equity in natural health and alternative medicine for the minority and under-served populations in Far NE Denver metro area. Some duties may overlap.
Learning opportunities:
- Electronic Medical Record system (EMR/EHR) – DrChrono
- Classical pulse diagnosis techniques
- Systems based approach in practice
- patient centered collaborative care
- Natural Medical Home (currently chiropractic, massage and acupuncture working collectively)
- Case discussions from psycho-social perspective
- Business management
Some Possible Duties:
- Medical note taking (transcribing notes)
- Vital signs (blood pressure, weight, temperature)
- Updates to calendars, social media, website
- Patient scheduling, rescheduling
- Payments
Ongoing internship. Multiple applicants may be accepted.
