
Hiring Acupuncturist in Boulder, CO
Seeking part-time acupuncture associate to join our busy Boulder practice and be part of our amazing collaborative team.
Required Qualifications:
- Colorado licensed acupuncturist & NCCAOM certification. Please no out-of-state applicants.
- Availability on Saturdays required plus either Tuesday or Thursday and ideally both.
- Financially supported outside this job for at least the first 3 months as we build your patient load and fill your schedule.Â
- Self-directed, organized, and detail-oriented. If you struggle to track multiple things at once, keep spaces organized and tidy or to manage appointments and your calendar, this is not the right fit.
- A clear, confident communicator and ability to receive direct feedback.Â
- Tech savvy and willing to work with tech for medical records, billing, etc.
- A warm personality– naturally friendly.Â
- Strong interpersonal boundaries– you know how to say no.
- Innate desire to continue to learn and willing to be coached and mentored to improve patient care and sales skills.
- Willing to learn to communicate about acupuncture and Chinese Medicine in biomedical terms and layperson language
- An understanding of the mechanisms of acupuncture as a healing modality
- A realistic expectation that your first 3 months will be a learning curve and potentially challenging as you learn new systems and get used to a new environment while also treating patients.Â
Preferred Qualifications (not dealbreakers)
- Microneedling certified
- Injection therapy certified
- Herbs competent
- Familiar with Unified Practice EHR
- Familiar with Square payment processing
Compensation
Range from 55-75$/hr based on experience, successful 3-month trial period, and whether you’re retaining patients. Compensation structure is a flat rate per patient.
